Hardware Fundamentals

Install motherboards, power supplies, cooling, storage, memory, and CPUs while learning cable types and connectors through hands-on labs.

Week 2

Networking Basics

Compare network types and hardware, explore cabling and wireless standards, and apply core TCP/IP concepts and internet connection types.

Week 3

Network Addressing & Protocols

Go deeper into TCP/IP, compare protocols and ports, and master network configuration concepts with mentor-led review sessions.

Week 4

Network Services, Virtualization & Mobile

Support networked hosts, summarize client-side virtualization and cloud concepts, and begin configuring and supporting mobile devices.

Week 5

Mobile & Print Device Support

Configure mobile apps and laptop hardware, troubleshoot device issues, and deploy and maintain printers and multifunction devices.

Week 6

Core 1 Exam Prep

Take timed practice exams with 2-hour mentor review sessions after each, isolating weak areas before moving forward.

Week 7

Core 1 Certification

Complete your final practice exam, receive your testing voucher, and schedule and sit the A+ Core 1 (220-1101) exam.

Week 8

Windows Configuration & Management

Configure Windows user and system settings, use management consoles and command-line tools, and identify operating system types and editions.

Week 9

Supporting Windows, Linux & macOS

Perform OS installations, troubleshoot Windows problems, manage Windows networking and shares, and identify key Linux and macOS features.

Week 10

Security & Mobile Software

Configure SOHO network security, manage workstation and browser security, harden against threats, and secure mobile operating systems.

Week 11

Scripting & Operational Procedures

Use remote access and backup tools, learn scripting basics, and apply documentation, communication, and safety best practices.

Week 12

Core 2 Exam Prep

Take five timed practice exams with mentor review after each, sharpening the weak areas the data reveals.

Week 13

Core 2 Certification

Complete your final practice exam, receive your voucher, and schedule and sit the A+ Core 2 (220-1102) exam.

Topologies & Physical Cabling

Explain networking fundamentals and the OSI model, then work through copper, fiber, and physical cabling installation and troubleshooting.

Week 15

Switches & IP Addressing

Configure network interfaces and Ethernet switches, then master IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, subnetting, and IP troubleshooting tools.

Week 16

Routing & Network Services

Configure routing, NAT, and firewalls, then implement DHCP, DNS, and the transport and application layer protocols that run networks.

Week 17

Application Services & Management

Support web, file, email, and voice services, plan disaster recovery, and monitor networks using SNMP, packet capture, and traffic analysis.

Week 18

Network Security Concepts & Controls

Identify threats, attacks, spoofing, and social engineering, then apply authentication, authorization, hardening, and switch security features.

Week 19

Security Design & Wireless

Implement zone-based and physical security for IoT environments, then design and secure enterprise wireless networks and troubleshoot them.

Week 20

Remote Access & Cloud

Compare WAN connectivity, VPNs, and remote management, then summarize datacenter, cloud networking, and modern network environments.

Week 21

Sandbox Labs & Exam Mapping

Apply skills in a hands-on network sandbox lab and map your coursework directly to the N10-009 exam objectives.

Week 22

Practice Exams by Domain

Work through full practice exams across all five Network+ domains, building competency and identifying gaps with mentor support.

Week 23

Targeted Review

Review N10-009 practice exams toward 90 percent readiness, revisiting weak domains in focused mentor sessions.

Week 24

Network+ Certification

Complete final preparation, then schedule and sit the CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) certification exam.
